Gorgeous is the word that came to mind when I first saw the Indian Summer range from Basic Grey. The papers are just beautiful and I couldn’t wait to get scrapping with them. The only problem was that the most spectacular designs like Milkweed and Gooseberry are quite busy, making it a challenge to showcase them in your layouts without detracting from your photos.

Click Here To View Our Basic Grey Papers

So I set myself another challenge – to make my favourite paper a key element of my layout’s design while still showing off my photos. And here is the result:

Materials Used: Basic Grey Indian Summer Milkweed paper, Basic Grey Indian Summer Dogwood paper, pink cardstock, brown and pink alphabet stickers, light brown cardstock, brown ink and a frog stamp from Imaginisce.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Basic Grey Indian Summer Milkweed paper as your background. Lightly ink around the edges with brown ink and allow it to dry.

2. This step is a little tricky. Using a craft knife or scissors, cut around the outline of the pink flowers up the left side of your Milkweed paper. You should start about 4.3cm from the bottom edge and continue up until you are about 4.7cm from the top edge. Do NOT cut all the way to the edges of your page.

If in doubt, please see the picture above and keep in mind you are cutting a slot to slide your brown Dogwood paper into.

3. Cut a square of Basic Grey Indian Summer Dogwood paper measuring 21.5cm by 21.5cm. Lightly ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, slide into the slot you made in the previous step to see what it looks like but do NOT glue in place.

4. Take note of the area covered by your brown paper and then set your brown paper aside. Cut out two leaves and a pink piece about 5cm by 6cm from the area that will later be covered. These will be used to create your frog embellishment.

5. Slide your brown paper into place again and glue. It should be about 1.9cm from the right edge and 4.3cm from the bottom edge.

6. Mat a vertical photo with pink cardstock. Glue in the bottom left corner of your brown paper, making sure you slide the edges underneath the pink flowers of your background paper, as shown above.

7. Mat a second vertical photo with pink cardstock. It should be slightly smaller than the previous one. Glue in the bottom right corner of your brown paper, making sure the top edge is inline with the top edge from the photo from step #6.

8. Mat a horizontal photo with pink cardstock. Glue in the top right corner of your brown paper, making sure the right edge is inline with the right edge from the photo from step #7.

9. Now it’s time to create your title in the top left corner of your page. I have used a combination of dark brown alphabet stickers from K&Company matted with light brown cardstock and pink and brown alphabet squares from DCWV. You can use whatever letters you like. The important thing is that they stand out.

10. Finally, stamp an image of a frog (or anything else) on the pink piece you set aside in step #4 and cut it out. Arrange it and your two leaves towards the bottom right corner of your page.

And there you have it – a layout that showcases not just your photos but a beautiful piece of Basic Grey Indian Summer paper. There is still a lot going on on this page, but the dark brown background for the photos creates a break between them and the patterned paper, allowing the photos to shine on their own.

Plus, you still get to see those gorgeous Basic Grey patterns.

I set myself a real scrapbooking challenge this week. As you’ve probably noticed, I love scrapping with patterned papers and combining different designs and patterns. But this week, I decided to restrict myself.

My challenge was to create a single-page layout using only ONE sheet of double-sided patterned paper, some cardstock and very minimal embellishing.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Scrapbooking Papers

Here’s what I came up with:

Materials Used: Dark brown textured cardstock, light brown cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Recycle paper, brown ink, dark brown ink, black ink, Sandylion brown ribbon border sticker, alphabet stickers from Pink Paislee and Making Memories and a quote sticker from NRN Designs.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark brown textured cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a square of light brown cardstock measuring approximately 28cm by 28cm. For extra effect, cut a scalloped edge pattern along the edges, as shown in the layout above. This just gives your page a little extra character.

Ink the edges of your square with brown ink and glue in the centre of your page.

3. Cut a strip from the underside of Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Recycle paper measuring 7.5cm by 30.5cm. Very lightly ink the edges with black ink. You just want to give it a subtle outline. Set aside to dry.

4. Cut a piece of Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Recycle paper measuring 25.7cm by 23cm. Ink the edges with dark brown ink and when dry, glue to your layout so that it is centred horizontally and is about 2.6cm from the bottom edge.

5. Glue your strip from step #3 across your page approximately 6.2cm from the bottom edge.

6. Place a Sandylion brown ribbon sticker (or any border sticker or piece of ribbon) across your page approximately 7.1cm from the bottom edge.

7. Mat a vertical 5×7 photo with light brown cardstock. Glue to your page approximately 3.9cm from the left edge and 4cm from the bottom edge.

8. Using alphabet stickers, write your title to the left of your photo, as shown in the scrapbooking layout above. My title reads: Together. The Best Place To Be.

9. From your remaining patterned paper, cut out two leaf images and two dandelion images. Arrange the leaves in the top left corner of your page and the two dandelion images in the bottom right corner of your page, as shown above.

10. Finally, add a quote sticker towards the top right corner of your page, just above your Recycle patterned paper.

I had a lot of fun with this challenge. Why don’t you give it a go and see what you can create with just a single piece of double-sided scrapbooking paper as the basis of your design!

This week has been very special for me. My Mum decided to take up scrapbooking and made her first ever scrapbooking layout. I am so proud of her page and couldn’t wait to share it with you.

She used our new line of Basic Grey Wisteria papers.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Basic Grey Papers

She created this scrapbooking layout using Basic Grey Wist Garden Paper Pack, white cardstock, a flower punch, purple ribbon and Making Memories Purple Alphabet stickers.

The photo is of me standing on our balcony (and yes, my Mum does call me Jenny – not Jen! Lol!).

Now you might be thinking that I helped Mum a lot with this page, but I really didn’t. The design is all hers. The only things I did were to suggest she include some ribbon somewhere and I helped her cut out a couple of flowers (after she had decided what she wanted to use).

My favourite element of the page is the frame she has made around the photo. I love how she has used a very busy and colourful paper to draw your attention to the photo without overwhelming you.

I also love how she has cut out a wide variety of shapes from her Basic Grey papers to create unique embellishments for her layout. This is a technique I often use, but I would not have thought to cut out the crest shape in the upper left corner or the butterfly shapes she has used in the bottom left corner of her photo.

I am so excited that my Mum has taken up scrapbooking and I am extremely proud of her first efforts. Please help me encourage her to continue scrapping by leaving a comment below. It really would make her day!

Thank you so much!

Newport Scenic Route Paper offers a richness of colour that brings your layouts to life. In this layout I have used three Scenic Route papers from the Newport collection, but you could easily re-create this design with any of your favourite papers.

Click Here To View Scenic Route Papers

It’s no secret that I am a fan of linear layouts (just look through the scrapbooking ideas here and you will soon notice a trend). I love the clean lines and balance achieved in linear designs. However, I also love the sophistication and elegance of scrolls and flourishes. This layout is intended to be an introduction to the use of scrolls on your scrapbooking pages. The design is still a strong linear onee but I have used two large scrolls to soften it and give it a sense of flow. If you want to try using scrolls on your layouts but aren’t sure what to do, this is a great idea to start with.

This layout was created using Scenic Route Newport White Script paper, Scenic Route Newport Jade Big Dots paper, Scenic Route Newport Chestnut Dots paper, white cardstock and dark brown ink.

Click Here To View Scenic Route Papers

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Scenic Route Newport Jade Big Dots paper as your background. Ink around the edges with dark brown ink and set aside to dry.

2. Cut a strip from the underside of Newport White Script paper approximately 4.5cm wide. Make sure your stripes are horizontal. Ink the edges with dark brown ink. When dry, glue this piece of Scenic Route paper down the right side of your page.

3. Cut a piece of Newport White Script paper measuring approximately 22cm by 26.5cm, making sure the script is horizontal. Ink the edges with dark brown ink. When dry, adhere it to your background approximately 2cm from the top and up against your striped paper from the previous step.

4. Cut a thin strip of Newport Jade Big Dots Paper. Make it the width of one row of dots. Adhere down your page so that it covers where your striped paper meets your script paper.

5. Thinly mat your horizontal photos with white cardstock and arrange on top of the script paper as shown above.

6. Now it’s time to create your scrolls. You can use pre-made scrolls or use a template to cut out your own. Or, if you would like to dabble in a little doodling, you can draw your own. I drew my own using the underside of the Newport White Script paper. Once I had drawn the first one, I cut it out, flipped it over and used it as the template for the other.

7. Ink the edges of both scrolls with dark brown ink and when dry, glue one in the top left corner and the other in the bottom left corner, as shown in the scrapbooking layout above.

What do you think? Do you like this scrapbooking idea using Scenic Route paper? Do you have any questions? Would you have done anything different? We’d love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below.

This layout was created using We R Memory Keepers Exp Swirls Paper Pack, white cardstock, dark brown Bazzill cardstock, green cardstock, yellow cardstock, dark brown cardstock, brown ink and a brown pen.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark brown paper from We R Memory Keepers Exp Swirls Paper Pack as your background. Turn it so the majority of the swirls and flowers are in the top left corner of your page.

2. Cut two pieces of Explore Dots paper from We R Memory Keepers Exp Swirls Paper Pack each measuring 15.2cm by 4cm. Using brown ink, ink all the way around the edges of each piece.

3. Glue one piece from Step #2 horizontally across the bottom of your page approximately 2.1cm from the right edge and 1.7cm from the bottom edge.

4. Glue the remaining piece from Step #2 horizontally towards the top of your page. It should be approximately 2.1cm from the right edge (inline with the piece from Step #3) and 8.1cm from the top edge.

5. Cut two pieces of Explore Orange paper from We R Memory Keepers Exp Swirls Paper Pack each measuring 17cm by 5cm. Using brown ink, ink all the way around the edges of each piece.

6. Glue one piece from Step #5 horizontally across the bottom of your page approximately 1.3cm from the right edge and 5.3cm from the bottom edge. It should overlap your Explore Dots paper.

7. Glue the remaining piece from Step #5 horizontally towards the top of your page. It should be approximately 1.3cm from the right edge (inline with the piece from Step #6) and 11.7cm from the top edge.

8. Cut another piece of Explore Dots paper measuring 17.8cm by 4.4cm. Using brown ink, ink all the way around the edges of each piece. When dry, glue horizontally across the gap between your two orange pieces. You have now finished the background for your photo mat.

9. Cut out a star shape from green cardstock. It should be about 9cm across. Using a brown pen, draw a border of dots and lines all the way around the edges. Glue at an angle in the top right corner of your page, as shown above.

10. Mat a vertical 5×7 photo with white cardstock and again with dark brown Bazzill cardstock. Glue to your page approximately 3.7cm from the right edge and 2.7cm from the bottom edge.

Please note: You are gluing your photo on top of your five strips of paper from the previous steps. It is centred vertically but NOT horizontally as you need to leave room for your diamonds.

11. Cut out a string of seven diamonds from the Explore Argyle paper from We R Memory Keepers Exp Swirls Paper Pack, as shown above and glue down the right side of your photo.

12. Cut out another star shape from green cardstock. This time it should be about 6.5cm across. Using a brown pen, draw a border of dots and lines all the way around the edges. Glue at an angle towards the bottom left corner of your photo, as shown above.

13. Finally, cut out your title from yellow cardstock. Mat each letter with dark brown cardstock and glue across the top left corner of your page.

I fell in love with the Wild Saffron papers from K&Company the moment I saw them and got straight to work (or should I say play) figuring out how I should use them. They were so easy to use, especially with all the swirls! I just love the organic feel. This layout just fell into place. What do you think? Please let me know by leaving a comment in the box at the bottom of this page. Thank you!

This layout was created using K&Company Red Swirl Paper Pack, Creative Imaginations Baroque paper, light brown cardstock, dark brown cardstock, brown ink, a brown pen, Alphabet stickers (mine are from American Greetings) and K&Company Glitter Birds and Flowers stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the underside of Yellow Flowers paper from K&Company Red Swirl Paper Pack as your background (the underside is a light brown paper with brown dots).

2. Using brown ink, ink all the way around the edges of your background.

3. Using a brown pen, draw a border around the edges of your background, as shown above. Don’t worry about being neat – the messier the better.

4. Cut a piece Creative Imaginations Baroque paper measuring approximately 19cm by 14.5cm. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, glue horizontally to your page approximately 1.5cm from the bottom and right edges.

5. Take your Red Swirl paper from your K&Company Red Swirl Paper Pack and carefully cut out the swirls from the bottom right corner, as shown above. This will be placed in the bottom left corner of your page, but do not glue down yet.

6. Again using your Red Swirl paper, cut out swirls for the top left and right corners of your page, as shown above. Put them aside for now.

7. Cut a piece from the underside of the remaining Red Swirl paper measuring approximately 18.9cm by 13.1cm. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, glue horizontally to your page approximately 3.7cm from the right edge and 2.1cm from the top edge.

8. Mat a horizontal 4×6 photo with light brown cardstock and glue to the centre of the piece from the previous step. Keep in mind that sections of the top part of this photo will be covered up later by your swirls.

9. Mat a horizontal 5×7 photo with light brown cardstock and glue on top of your Baroque paper approximately 2.2cm from the right edge of your page and 2.5cm from the bottom edge of your page. Keep in mind that the left section of this photo will be covered up later by your swirls.

10. Glue the large red swirls that you cut out in Step #5 in the bottom left corner of your page. If you wish, you can embellish your swirls with flowers cut out from the underside of your Red Swirl paper.

11. Glue your next set of swirls in the top right corner of your page. Cut out a flower from the underside of your Red Swirl paper and glue it below your swirls. Then glue another small swirl below that, as shown above.

12. Glue another small swirl section in the top left corner of your page, as shown above.

13. Place a red glitter swirl sticker from K&Company Glitter Birds and Flowers stickers in the bottom right corner of your page.

14. You are going to place your bird with swirls stickers from K&Company Glitter Birds and Flowers stickers near the bottom right corner of your top photo, but before you do so, mat the red bird and red heart stickers with light brown cardstock (otherwise you will not be able to see them against the background). Then stick them and the rest of your stickers in place.

15. Cut out the first letter of your title from dark brown cardstock. Glue towards the bottom left corner of your page, as shown above. Finish off your title with alphabet stickers matted with dark brown cardstock.

What do you think? Do you like this scrapbooking idea with Wild Saffron paper? Do you have any questions? Would you have done anything different? We’d love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below.

When I first saw Basic Grey’s Posh paper, I thought I should just frame it and put it on the wall. It’s so pretty I thought it would be a crime to actually cover any of it up. But I eventually made myself use it to create this layout. I chose a photo that would stand out on its own (you really can’t miss that bright blue water) so I could leave most of the paper on display without it taking all the attention. What do you think? Please let me know in the comments box at the bottom of this page.

This layout was created using Basic Grey Sultry Posh paper from the Basic Grey Sultry Posh Paper Pack, two shades of pink Bazzill cardstock, pink cardstock, white cardstock, chocolate brown cardstock, Flourish stamps (mine are from Basic Grey), dark brown ink, pink ink, a pink pen, a chocolate brown flower, a pinkish brad, a small flower punch and NRN Butterflies and Flowers stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Basic Grey Sultry Posh paper as your background but turn it on its side so the lines are vertical and the pink flower is in the top right corner.

2. Cut a piece of pink cardstock measuring approximately 4cm by 4.8cm. Glue vertically to your background approximately 12cm from the left edge and 7cm from the top edge.

3. Mat a 4×6 vertical photo with white cardstock and again with your darkest shade of pink Bazzill cardstock.

4. Position your photo on your page approximately 5.2cm from the right edge and 5.6cm from the top edge. Do NOT glue in place. Instead, take note of where your photo is positioned in relation to the pink flowers in the top right corner. Using a craft knife, cut around the edges of the flower your photo would cover just enough to allow you to slip your photo underneath. When you are happy with your cut, slide the top right corner of your photo into the slit and glue your photo in place.

5. Select a two word title for your layout. Cut the letters for the second word out of your lighter shade of pink Bazzill cardstock. Ink all over with dark brown ink. The resulting letters will be dark brown with a tinge of pink showing through. When dry, glue across the top of your page, leaving room to add another smaller word above it.

6. Cut the letters for the first word of your title out of chocolate brown cardstock. Glue them across your page, directly above the second word of your title.

7. Using pink ink, stamp two flourishes on your light pink Bazzill cardstock. If you don’t have stamps, you could draw the shapes yourself. Colour in with a pink pen (I have used glitter pink). Glue in the bottom right corner of your photo, as shown above.

8. Place a chocolate brown flower in the bottom right corner of your photo so it covers the join between your two flourishes. Attach with a pinkish brad.

9. Place a pink dragonfly (or butterfly) sticker to the right of your photo, as shown above.

10. Punch out a small flower from chocolate brown cardstock and glue in between your pink dragonfly and pink flourish, as shown above.

11. Place a pink butterfly sticker to the left of your photo and below your title, as shown above.

12. Punch out four small flowers from chocolate brown cardstock. Create a flight path for the butterfly and glue in place, as shown above.

My favourite layouts are those that show off a spectacular patterned paper while still drawing focus to the photos. So when I saw the new Sultry Basic Grey papers I knew I was going to have some fun! The background design of this layout was inspired by a layout by Azumi Izuno. What do you think? Please let me know in the comments box at the bottom of this page.

This layout was created using Basic Grey Sultry Swanky paper from the Basic Grey Sultry Swanky Paper Pack, brown cardstock, tan cardstock, textured chocolate brown cardstock, an American Traditional Designs Moments Frame (a goldish-brown patterned paper will do) and alphabet stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the brown cardstock as your background.

2. This step is a little tricky. You want to cut a square for the centre of your page. To do this, you want to remove 1.5cm from each side. However, don’t just cut straight lines all the way around. Instead, leave the large leaves in tact so that they extend beyond the edges of your square. Study the picture above to see what I mean before you start cutting your own square.

3. Glue your square to the centre of your page.

4. Glue your American Traditional Designs Moments frame in the top left corner of your page, approximately 3.5cm from the left edge and 3.6cm from the top edge. If you don’t have a frame, cut a piece of patterned paper in a similar colour that measures approximately 19cm by 14.3cm. Glue horizontally in the same position.

5. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with tan cardstock. Glue in the bottom right corner of your page approximately 3cm from the right edge and 3.6cm from the bottom edge.

6. Mat a horizontal 4×6 photo with tan cardstock. Glue in the centre of your frame so that it overlaps the top left corner of your vertical photo.

7. Select a 2-word title for your page. Cut out the first letter of the first word from textured chocolate brown cardstock. It should be approximately 7cm tall. Mat with tan cardstock.

8. Cut a strip of textured chocolate brown cardstock measuring approximately 10.5cm by 2.5cm long. Using light coloured alphabet stickers, write the first word of your title, minus the first letter, across this strip. Glue to your layout approximately 7.3cm from the left edge of your page and 7.8cm from the bottom edge. It will slightly overlap your vertical photo.

9. Glue your large letter directly to the left of your first word, as shown above.

10. Cut out the first letter of the second word from your title from textured chocolate brown cardstock. It should be approximately 4cm tall. Mat with tan cardstock.

11. Cut a strip of textured chocolate brown cardstock measuring approximately 3.5cm by 1.5cm long. Using light coloured alphabet stickers, write the second word of your title, minus the first letter, across this strip. Glue to your layout approximately 12cm from the left edge of your page and 5cm from the bottom edge.

12. Glue your 4cm letter directly to the left of your second word, as shown above.

I love the unique style of Basic Grey paper and the Urban Couture collection is one of my all time favourite ranges. The trouble is, I like looking at it so much that I never end up using it. So I finally bit the bullet and created a layout that not only shows of my photos but also the beauty of the papers. What do you think?

This layout was created using Basic Grey Lux paper from the Basic Grey Urban Lux Paper Pack, Karen Foster Plum Texture paper, light brown textured cardstock, light brown cardstock, brown ink, a brown pen, brown ribbon, a yellow flower, one medium sized brad (I have used a Japanese lady brad from Prima), brown alphabet rub-ons and Basic Grey Urban Couture Tag Cut-Outs.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Karen Foster Plum Texture paper as your background.

2. Cut a piece of light brown textured cardstock measuring approximately 25.5cm by 28cm. Ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, draw dots as a border around the edges. Keep in mind that large sections will later be covered over so save time by not drawing dots all the way around. Glue to your background so that it is centred horizontally and up against the bottom edge.

3. Take a 4×6 horizontal photo and crop it so that it is only about 14cm wide. Mat with light brown cardstock and adhere on top of your textured brown cardstock approximately 0.4cm from the left edge and 8cm from the bottom edge.

4. Take a 4×6 vertical photo and crop it so that it is only about 9.4cm wide. Mat with light brown cardstock and adhere on top of your textured brown cardstock approximately 0.4cm from the right edge and 9.8cm from the bottom edge. Keep in the mind that the bottom right corner of this photo will be covered.

5. Cut out the red flower from your Basic Grey Lux paper. Make sure you keep some of the ornate detail around it as well as the straight edge along the bottom and p the right side. The piece I cut is about 16.5cm tall and 18.5cm wide. Once cut, glue in the bottom right corner of your page so that it is up against the edges and overlaps your vertical photo.

6. Cut out the green flower from your Basic Grey Lux paper. You need to turn this flower into a corner piece for the bottom left corner, as shown above. Work out where you want your horizontal and vertical edges to be before you start cutting. Again, make sure you leave some of the surrounding details in and be careful not to cut too closely to your yellow flower (you will want that soon). Glue in the bottom left corner of your page so that it is up against the edges and overlaps both your horizontal photo and part of your red flower piece.
7. Cut out the oval Lux tag from Basic Grey Urban Couture Tag Cut-Outs (the one that matches your paper). Cut a piece of brown ribbon to reach across the top of your page and thread your tag onto it, as shown above. Position the tag near the top right corner of your vertical photo so that the ribbon runs horizontally across the top of your page approximately 0.5cm below the top edge of your textured cardstock. Glue down.

8. Place a yellow flower towards the bottom right of your oval tag and secure in place with a brad, as shown above.

9. Cut out the yellow flower from your Basic Grey Lux paper. You need to turn this flower into a corner piece for the top left corner, as shown above. Again, work out where you want your horizontal and vertical edges to be before you start cutting and leave some of the surrounding details in. Glue in the top left corner of your page so that it is up against the edges and overlaps both your horizontal photo and your ribbon.

10. Finally, use brown alphabet rub-ons (or stickers or stamps) to add your title in the space between your yellow flower and your vertical photo.

I always have a lot of fun playing with 3 Bugs In A Rug papers, and this layout was no different. The co-ordinated collections make it so easy to mix and match. I didn’t have to worry about whether or not the colours and patterns really ‘go’ together – I could just get in and start scrapping. What do you think?

This layout was created using Three Bugs In A Rug Delight Rhapsody paper, Three Bugs In A Rug Frenzy Rhapsody paper, Three Bugs In A Rug Rapture Rhapsody paper, Three Bugs In A Rug Thrill Rhapsody paper, chocolate brown Bazzill cardstock, purple cardstock, cream cardstock, brown ink, purple alphabet stickers, white alphabet stickers, a black pen, a silver pen, a purple ric rac sticker (or a piece of ric rac), Creative Imaginations Love Borders stickers (a pink ribbon would do) and Creative Imaginations Love stickers (for the butterfly).

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the chocolate brown Bazzill cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a square of Three Bugs In A Rug Delight Rhapsody paper measuring approximately 27.7cm by 27.7cm. Ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue in the centre of your background.

3. Cut a strip of Three Bugs In A Rug Frenzy Rhapsody paper approximately 11cm wide. Tear down the right side to give a white edge. Ink all the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue vertically down the left side of your page, as shown above.

4. Cut a piece of Three Bugs In A Rug Rapture Rhapsody paper measuring approximately 3.5cm by 22cm. Ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue vertically to your page so that is approximately 4.2cm from the right edge and 4cm from the top.

5. Cut a piece of purple cardstock measuring approximately 19.5cm by 18.5cm. Using a black pen, draw a playful border around the edges of the cardstock, as shown above. Glue horizontally to your page approximately 5.5cm from the right edge and 6cm from the top.

6. Mat your photo with cream cardstock and again with Three Bugs In A Rug Thrill Rhapsody paper. Ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue to the middle of your purple cardstock approximately 1.2cm from the top edge.

7. Place a pink border sticker from Creative Imaginations Love Borders stickers or a pink ribbon horizontally across your page. The bottom edge of your sticker should be approximately 1cm above the bottom edge of your purple cardstock. Place a piece of purple ric rac just below it, as shown above.

8. Add your title in the space between your photo and your border sticker. I have used purple alphabet stickers for the first letter of each word. I then used a silver pen to draw in each ‘E’. The rest of the title is done with white alphabet stickers.

9. Place a small butterfly sticker on your pink border sticker just to the right of your title, as shown above.

10. Finally, cut out a purple flower and a green flower from Three Bugs In A Rug Frenzy Rhapsody paper. Make sure you leave a white edge around them so they will stand out. Place the large purple flower so it overlaps the top right corner of your photo. Place the smaller green flower just below it.
