No matter what time of year it is, I always seem to thinking about Christmas scrapbooking ideas. Perhaps it’s because I seem to take more and more photos every holiday season and have to come up with quick and easy ideas to get them all scrapped before next Christmas! Or maybe it’s just all the adorable Christmas stickers that keep coming out!

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Christmas Stickers

Whatever it is, I just really enjoy scrapbooking Christmas photos, even in the middle of July. There are always so many fantastic products to play with and you can’t help but feel happy as you look back on your precious holiday moments.

In the layout below I have combined ribbon and Christmas ornament stickers to embellish my page and re-create the Christmas atmosphere. It’s a very easy technique and can be adapted to any size layout.

Materials Used: Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper, white cardstock, thin red and white gingham ribbon, black alphabet stickers, white alphabet stickers, Heartwarming Christmas Joy stickers and Reminisce Glitter Christmas Ornaments stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Cut your Bo Bunny Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper to 8 1/2″ by 11″. Use this for your background.

2. Select three vertical photos and mat with white cardstock.

3. Arrange your photos in the middle of your page, as shown above and glue into place. Make sure you leave about 4cm space at the top of your page.

4. Select four Christmas ornaments stickers you would like to use on your scrapbooking layout. Work out their placement based on the layout above, but do not stick them down yet.

5. Cut four pieces of ribbon, one for each ornament sticker. To work out the length of each piece, measure the distance from the top of the ornament to the top of the page and add about 3cm.

6. Take the ornament from the bottom right corner and the longest piece of ribbon. Thread the ribbon through the hole in the top of the ornament sticker so that about 1cm of ribbon is stuck to the back of the sticker. Stick the sticker on your layout and glue your ribbon in a straight line up to the top of the page. Fold any excess ribbon over the top edge of the page.

7. Repeat Step 6 for the other three Christmas ornament stickers.

8. Finally, use a combination of black alphabet stickers, white alphabet stickers and Heartwarming Christmas Joy stickers to add your journaling in the bottom right corner of your page, as shown in the layout above.

This simple yet effective Christmas scrapbooking idea is perfect for showcasing any of your Christmas holiday photos.

I love to challenge myself to find new and interesting ways of using scrapbooking stickers on my layouts and I find that my combining them with other elements, I can create a completely new and fresh look for my pages. For example, in this layout, I have used some Santa Claus stickers combined with a collage of tags and other scrapbooking elements to create a unique border down the left side of my page.

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Christmas Stickers

It’s a fabulous way to dress up your Christmas layouts, but the design can also be easily adapted to suit any theme.

Materials Used: Dark green Bazzill cardstock, Patchwork Cranapple Red Stripe paper, Hot off the Press Green Marble paper, White Magic Mesh, dark green cardstock, silver cardstock, white ink pad, red fibre, green brads and Sandylion Shiny Santa stickers.

To recreate this scrapbooking idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark green Bazzill cardstock as your background. Ink the edges with white ink for added interest. When you are done, set it aside to dry while you work on the rest of your page.

2. Using a template or a punch, cut four equal sized tags from your Patchwork Cranapple Red Stripe paper. Do the same with your Hot off the Press Green Marble paper. Pair up each red tag to a green tag.

3. Cut out (or punch out) four circles from dark green cardstock and mat each one with silver cardstock for some Christmas shine.

4. Centre a Sandylion Shiny Santa sticker in the middle of each circle from the previous step.

5. Cut four squares approximately 3cm by 3cm of white Magic Mesh.

You now have all the elements you need to create your border.

6. Play around with the positioning of your tags and Magic Mesh along your border, keeping in mind the layout above. When you have decided on your placement, adhere your pieces of Magic Mesh first. Everything else will be layered on top.

7. Before adhering your tags in place, first attach a fibre to each set. Remember that each red tag should be positioned on top of a green tag. Attach your tags to your background using green brads.

8. Add your Santa Claus circles as a finishing touch.

You have now created a wonderful border down the side of your page just from a handful of sweet stickers and scraps of paper. Add your photos and any other embellishments you wish to finish the rest of your page.

Christmas scrapbooking stickers are quick and easy to use and look absolutely fabulous on your scrapbooking layouts. In this layout, I have used some fun Christmas border stickers to dress up my page and capture the spirit of Christmas.

Click Here To View Our Christmas Stickers

Materials Used: Textured green cardstock, American Traditional Christmas Trees paper, Green Polka Dot paper, red cardstock, dark green textured cardstock, alphabet stickers from Sandylion and Creative Imaginations and Sandylion Christmas Icons Borders stickers.

To recreate this scrapbooking idea using Christmas scrapbooking stickers, follow these steps:

1. Use a textured green cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a piece of American Traditional Christmas Trees paper approximately 23.5cm wide. Glue down your page approximately 2cm from the right edge.

3. Place your Christmas border sticker with the wavy edge down the right side of your Christmas tree paper from Step #2, as shown in the Christmas scrapbooking idea above.

4. Place your other Christmas border sticker down the left side of your Christmas tree paper from Step #2, as shown in the Christmas scrapbooking idea above.

5. Cut a piece of Green Polka Dot paper measuring approximately 11.5 by 5.8cm. Glue up against the left edge of your page approximately 5.3cm from the top edge.

6. Cut a second piece of Green Polka Dot paper, this time measuring approximately 9.7cm by 8.3cm. Glue towards the bottom of your page approximately 0.7cm from the bottom edge and 9.5cm from the left edge.

7. Cut a third piece of Green Polka Dot paper, this time measuring approximately 5cm by 5cm. Glue towards the top right corner of your page approximately 1cm from the top edge and 2.2cm from the right edge.

8. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with dark green textured cardstock and again with red cardstock. Glue towards the top right corner of your page. It should look like the Green Polka Dot paper is peeping out from underneath the top right corner of your photo, as shown in the layout above.

9. Mat two horizontal 4×6 photos with dark green textured cardstock. Mat them again with a single mat of red cardstock. Glue towards the bottom left corner of your page, as shown above. Again, it should appear as though the Green Polka Dot paper is peeping out from underneath your photos.

10. Using alphabet stickers, stamps or rub-ons, write your title in the bottom right corner of your page.

11. Finally, scatter your remaining Christmas stickers around your page to top it off.

No matter how you celebrate Christmas, it’s always a special time of year. Make sure you capture those precious moments with your camera to include in your scrapbooks. Then scatter in some Christmas scrapbooking stickers and you’ll have an album the whole family will treasure for years to come.

Creating Christmas layouts is a great way to get into the holiday spirit and with Christmas only weeks away, I thought it would be a great time to share some Christmas scrapbooking ideas with you.

I usually take hundreds of photos at Christmas time so I need shortcuts that allow me to create beautiful pages fast. I know I can’t scrap all of my photos, but I sure do try!

For that reason, I turn to Christmas stickers and scrapbooking sketches.

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Christmas Stickers

This layout was created using Sandylion Christmas Pooh & Friends stickers and sketch #182 from my collection of 500 Scrapbooking Sketches.

Materials Used: Bo Bunny Christmas Green Tidings paper (for the background), Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Ornaments paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Stripes paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Mini Dots paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper, white cardstock, green Bazzill cardstock, Christmas ribbon, a green ink pad, foam tape, Creative Imaginations Christmas Alphabet stickers, American Traditional Glitter Christmas Alphabet stickers and Sandylion Christmas Pooh & Friends stickers.

To create this layout, I used my sketch as my guideline, selected my supplies and then added some of my own extra special touches. They include:

1. I chose the darkest paper as my background. While it’s not always necessary, in this case I felt a dark background served me better as it ties the different elements of my page together and anchors them.

2. I used a strip of ribbon across the join between by background paper and the strip of Ornaments paper along the bottom. This enabled me to hide the ungly join and add a bit of texture to my Christmas layout.

3. I lightly inked the edges of some of my patterned papers with green ink to make the edges a little less stark and enable to different elements to blend together a little. This is one of those Christmas scrapbooking ideas that can be incorporated into practically any scrapbooking layout (and you might have noticed…I do this a lot!).

4. I layered my patterned papers in the top left corner of my page to make my photo the key focal point of my page.

5. I combined different Christmas alphabet stickers to create a truly unique title. This is another Christmas scrapbooking idea that can really be applied to any layout. By mixing and matching different colours and fonts you give your layouts a sense of sophistication and style that is uniquely yours.

6. I also matted some of my alphabet stickers to help them stand out from the background.

7. I matted most of my Winnie the Pooh Christmas stickers with white cardstock and again with green Bazzill cardstock. This helped them stand out from the background and become feature elements of the page.

8. I also adhered most of the Winnie the Pooh stickers with foam tape to add dimension to my Christmas layout.

No matter what Christmas stickers you are using, matting them and applying them with foam tape is a fabulous way to help them stand out as key elements of your page. It’s especially effective when the stickers are small as they will not overwhelm your photos.
