Lately I have been scrapping a lot of my photos from a trip my husband and I took to Coffs Harbour a few years ago and as a result, I have been playing around with all sorts of beach scrapbooking ideas. As with this layout, it is often a case of selecting the right colours, choosing the right stickers and letting the photos speak for themselves.

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Beach Stickers

This layout was created using K&Company Blue Awning Green Floral Damask paper, KI Sand Linen paper, Foofala Brown Ivy paper, cream cardstock, light brown cardstock, green Bazzill cardstock, brown ink, a brown pen, Beary Patch Sand Alphabet stickers and Bo Bunny At The Beach stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the K&Company Blue Awning Green Floral Damask paper as your background.

2. Tear a square of KI Sand Linen paper approximately 27cm by 27cm. Glue to the centre of your page.

3. Cut a stripe of Foofala Brown Ivy paper approximately 9cm wide. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, glue vertically to your page approximately 3.5cm from the right edge.

4. Mat two horizontal 4×6 photos and two horizontal 3×4 photos with cream cardstock. Arrange them on your layout, as shown above, with your most important 4×6 photo in the top right corner.

5. Cut a piece of cream cardstock measuring approximately 12cm by 4cm. Using a brown pen, write your journaling on this piece. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, glue in the space underneath your second 4×6 photo, as shown above. Make sure you leave room to add a sandcastle to the left of this piece.

6. Cut a piece of green Bazzill cardstock measuring approximately 3cm by 4cm. Ink the edges with brown ink. Place an alphabet sticker in the centre to make the first letter of the first word of your title. Glue vertically and at an angle in the top left corner of your page, as shown above.

7. Cut a strip of light brown cardstock measuring approximately 10cm by 3cm. Using alphabet stickers, write the remainder of the first word of your title. Ink the edges with brown ink and glue horizontally next to your green rectangle from the previous step.

8. Cut a second strip of light brown cardstock measuring approximately 11cm by 3cm. Using alphabet stickers, write the second word of your title. Ink the edges with brown ink and glue horizontally underneath the first word of your title, as shown above.

9. Finally, mat a sandcastle sticker from Bo Bunny At The Beach stickers with cream cardstock and glue in the bottom left corner next to your journaling block.

Whenever new stickers from Cloud 9 Designs stickers arrive in store, I always get excited. My poor husband has to watch me going through them all saying, “I’ll have one of these…and one of these…oh, and I HAVE to have one of these!” Lol. So this week, I thought I should stop drooling all over them and actually use some. And here is the result!

This layout was created using dark brown Bazzill cardstock, KI Peach Blossoms paper, Autumn Leaves Linen Stripes paper, Hot Off The Press Brown Swirls paper, cream cardstock, dark brown Co-ordinations cardstock, brown ink, a brown pen, Creative Imaginations Epoxy Leaves alphabet stickers, Making Memories Brown Alphabet stickers and Cloud 9 Travel Elements stickers.

Click Here To View Cloud 9 Travel Elements Stickers

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark brown Bazzill cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a piece of KI Peach Blossoms paper measuring approximately 28.5cm by 26cm. Tear away the bottom right corner so you have a diagonal line from the bottom left corner to about 19.5cm down the right side. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, use a brown pen to draw a dashed border around all the edges except the bottom edge. Glue to your page approximately 1cm from the left edge and 1cm from the top edge.

3. Cut a piece of Autumn Leaves Linen Stripes paper measuring approximately 14cm by 29cm. Again, tear along the bottom edge at an angle, as shown above. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, use a brown pen to draw a dashed border around all the edges except the bottom edge. Glue to your page approximately 1.8cm from the left edge and up against the top edge.

4. Mat your main photo (I have used a 5×7 photo cropped to 17.7cm by 11cm) with cream cardstock. Mat again with Hot Off The Press Brown Swirls paper. You should end up with a border of Brown Swirls paper approximately 1.2cm wide all the way around. Ink the edges with brown ink. When dry, tear a corner piece from dark brown Co-ordinations cardstock and glue in the bottom right corner of your photo mat, as shown above. Then glue your photo mat to your page approximately 4.5cm from the left edge and 4.2cm from the top edge.

5. Mat your second photo with cream cardstock (I have used a 4×6 photo). Cut a piece of dark brown Co-ordinations cardstock measuring approximately 2.5cm by the height of your photo mat (in my case, 10.5cm). Tear down the left edge and glue to the right side of your photo, as shown above. Place a green Totally Tourist sticker from Cloud 9 Travel Elements stickers in the middle of this strip, as shown above. Glue your photo to your page approximately 2.7cm from the right edge and 1.6cm from the bottom edge.

6. Mat your green flower strip sticker with dark brown Co-ordinations cardstock. Glue vertically to your page approximately 2.4cm from the left edge and up against the top edge. Place a flower sticker at the base, as shown above.

7. Mat your brown tourist strip sticker with dark brown Co-ordinations cardstock. Glue horizontally across the top of your Linen Stripes paper approximately 1cm from the top edge

8. Using your Creative Imaginations Epoxy Leaves alphabet stickers and your Making Memories Brown Alphabet stickers, write your title to the left of your second photo, as shown above. Make sure you leave plenty of room for your journaling.

9. Cut out a piece of cream cardstock measuring approximately 8.2cm by 4.2cm. Tear along the bottom edge at an angle, as shown above. Ink the edges with brown ink and when dry, use a brown pen to draw a dashed border around all the edges except the bottom edge. Glue to your page in the space left underneath your title, as shown above.

10. Place a large brown flower sticker in the top right corner of your page. If you wish, use a yellow circle sticker to create an alternative centre to your flower as I have.

11. Finish off by placing a blue flower sticker and a small yellow circle sticker in the bottom right corner of your page, as shown above.

These Juicy scrapbooking papers from All My Memories were so much fun to work with. There are so many different elements to these papers, making them very easy to use. By selecting different things from each design and putting them together, I was able to create a bright and cheery layout in a very short amount of time. What do you think?

This layout was created using three papers from the All My Memories Juicy Paper Pack, white cardstock, pink ink, Doodlebug White Alphabet stickers, small pink alphabet stickers and Diecuts With A View Neopolitan Square Alphabet stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Juicy Ribbon Stripes paper as your background.

2. Cut a piece of Juicy Dots paper measuring approximately 19.5cm by 25cm. Tear along the top edge. Ink the edges with pink ink. If you wish, you may like to smear some extra pink ink across the paper for added interest. When dry, glue vertically to your background approximately 2cm from the right edge and 2.7cm from the bottom edge.

3. Cut out the pink square from your Juicy Squares paper. Mat with white cardstock. Glue to your page approximately 2cm from the left edge and 4.5cm from the bottom edge. Make sure the green circles go down the left side of your square.

4. Cut a piece measuring approximately 10cm by 7.5cm from the underside of your Juicy Dots paper. Tear along the top edge. Adhere horizontally to your page approximately 5.5cm from the left edge and 7.5cm from the bottom edge.

5. Mat a vertical 5×7 photo with white cardstock. Adhere to your page approximately 4cm from the right edge and 6.5cm from the bottom edge.

6. Using Doodlebug White Alphabet stickers, write the first word of your title in the space above your plaid paper (You may need to keep it short so it will fit).

7. Use Diecuts With A View Neopolitan Square Alphabet stickers to write the second word of your title below the first word, as shown above. I have also used smaller pink alphabet stickers on my squares as I ran out of the correct letters.

What do you think? Do you like this scrapbooking idea? Do you have any questions? Would you have done anything different? We’d love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below.

Baby girl scrapbooking stickers are perfect for creating cute and girly pages for your little girl. In this layout I have used several simple techniques like paper tearing and tag art to create a very sweet and pretty page. And, it’s so easy to scraplift. All you need is some pretty pink papers and some cute baby girl stickers.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Baby Stickers

This layout was created using Provo Craft Pink Paisley paper, Provo Craft Pink Stripes paper, Provo Craft Pastel Dots paper, white cardstock, purple cardstock, pink cardstock and Karen Foster It’s A Girl stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Provo Craft Pink Paisley paper for your background.

2. Cut a strip of Provo Craft Pink Stripes paper measuring approximately 3.5cm by 30.5cm. Tear along the bottom edge and adhere horizontally along the top edge of your page.

3. Cut a strip of Provo Craft Pink Stripes paper measuring approximately 9cm by 30.5cm. Tear along the top edge and adhere horizontally along the bottom edge of your page.

4. Cut a piece of Provo Craft Pastel Dots paper measuring approximately 4.5cm by 30.5cm. Adhere horizontally to your page approximately 2.3cm from the bottom edge.

5. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with white cardstock. Adhere to your page so that it is centred between your two strips of striped paper and approximately 1.5cm from the right edge.

6. Mat a vertical 3×4 photo with white cardstock. If you don’t have a smaller photo, you could make this a journaling block instead. Adhere approximately 1cm to the right of your larger photo so that the bottom edge of both photos are inline with each other.

7. Mat your pink ‘Giggle & Gurgle’ sticker with white cardstock. Adhere to the right of your photos so that the bottom edge is inline with the bottom edge of your photos. Place a small orange flower sticker towards the top left corner of your ‘Giggle & Gurgle’ sticker, as shown in the layout above.

8. Cut a tag measuring approximately 4.3cm by 7cm from purple cardstock. Cut a circle from Provo Craft Pink Stripes paper and glue in the bottom right corner of your tag, as shown in the layout above. Trim away any excess. Mat your tag with white cardstock. Cut out a section of your purple ric rac sticker and place along the bottom of the tag, as shown above. Glue your tag at an angle in the bottom left corner of your page.

9. Cut out a circle with a diameter of approximately 3.7cm from pink cardstock. Glue towards the top left corner of your tag so that it overhangs the edge, as shown above. Place your ‘It’s A’ sticker inside the circle. Finish off your tag by placing a yellow flower sticker in the middle of the top edge and an orange heart sticker towards the bottom right corner.

10. Place your ‘GIRL!’ stickers in a row next to your tag to create your title.

11. Arrange your ‘Precious Baby,’ ‘Cuddle Bug,’ duck and pink flower stickers in the bottom right corner of your page, as shown above.

12. Finally, place your ‘Am I Cute Or What!’ sticker in the top right corner of your page. Add your small yellow heart sticker to the bottom right corner of this sticker.

Tearing scrapbooking papers is often a forgotten technique, especially if you are a fan of layouts with straight clean lines like me. However, when used discreetly, as in the layout below, it is a great way to add interest to your page without making it messy.

This layout was created using Creative Imaginations Vine Stripe paper, Autumn Leaves Stripes paper, Doodlebug Blue Stripe paper, blue cardstock, white cardstock, blue ink, blue twill and Frances Meyer Butterflies stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Creative Imaginations Vine Stripe paper for your background. Ink the edges with blue ink and set aside to dry.

2. Cut a strip of Autumn Leaves Stripes paper approximately 21cm wide and ink the edges with blue ink. Adhere it vertically to your background approximately 1.5cm from the left edge.

3. Cut a piece of Doodlebug Blue Stripe paper approximately 19cm wide by 17cm tall. Make sure the stripes are horizontal. Tear down the right edge, as shown in the layout above. Ink the edges with blue ink. Adhere to your background approximately 2cm from the top and 9cm from the left edge.

4. Cut a piece of blue cardstock measuring approximately 18cm by 23cm. Ink the edges with blue ink and add your journaling to the bottom section, as shown in the layout above. Adhere to your page approximately 4cm from the top and 7cm from the left edge.

5. Mat your photo with white cardstock. Adhere towards the top of your blue cardstock, as shown in the layout above.

6. Cut a strip of Doodlebug Blue Stripe paper approximately 18cm wide by 2cm tall. Make sure the stripes are vertical this time. Tear along the bottom edge. Ink the edges with blue ink and adhere to your blue cardstock, just above your journaling. For the best effect, the top edge of this strip should follow the same line as the bottom edge of your larger piece of Doodlebug Blue Stripe paper.

7. Adhere a piece of blue twill across your page underneath your photo and above your journaling.

8. Finish off by placing a blue butterfly sticker from Frances Meyer Butterflies stickers on top of the twill near the bottom right corner of your photo. You may like to adhere it to cardstock and cut it out first to give it depth.

In this layout of my nephew, I wanted to capture his creative, playful spirit. The implied fluidic movement of paisley combined with the funky, modern colours from Pebbles Inc allowed me to do so with ease. What do you think? Do you like it?

This layout was created using Pebbles Inc Theodore Paper Pack, dark blue Bazzill cardstock, brown Bazzill cardstock, light blue Bazzill cardstock, white cardstock, brown cardstock and Pebbles Inc Great Buy Labels stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark blue Bazzill cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a piece of Theodore Stripe paper measuring approximately 12cm by 1.8cm. Glue horizontally in the bottom right corner of your page so that it is up against the right edge and approximately 1.5cm above the bottom edge.

3. Cut a piece of Theodore Circle paper measuring approximately 18.3cm by 29.5cm. Mat with white cardstock so there is a white border all the way around, except for the bottom edge. Glue vertically to your page so that it touches the bottom edge and is approximately 1cm from the left edge.

4. Cut a piece of Theodore Paisley paper measuring approximately 18.5cm by 25.5cm. Tear from the bottom left corner to approximately 5cm up the right side to create a diagonal line, as shown in the layout above. Glue vertically to your page approximately 3.2cm from the top edge and 2cm from the right edge.

5. Cut a strip of Theodore Stripe paper approximately 3cm thick. Mat with white cardstock. Glue horizontally across your page approximately 7.5cm from the bottom edge.

6. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with white cardstock and again with brown Bazzill cardstock. Glue to your page so that it is approximately 4.5cm from the top edge and 6.3cm from the right edge. It should overlap with your striped paper.

7. Mat the blue ‘One of a Kind sticker with white cardstock and glue towards the bottom right corner of your photo, as shown in the layout above. Cut out a dark brown paisley shape from the Theodore Paisley paper and glue it in the bottom right corner of this sticker. Cut out a second, larger paisley shape and glue

8. Cut out a second, larger paisley shape and glue so that it overlaps the top left corner of your photo, as shown above.

9. Mat the brown ‘Enjoy Life’ sticker with white cardstock and glue in the bottom right corner of your page approximately 1.5cm from the right edge and 0.8cm from the bottom edge. Cut out a green paisley shape from the Theodore Paisley paper and glue it in the bottom right corner of this sticker.

10. Cut out your title from light blue Bazzill cardstock. Mat with brown cardstock and glue sideways up the left side of your page, as shown in the layout above.

11. Finally, cut out a handful of paisley shapes from the Theodore Paisley paper and glue them around your title for decoration.

The successful combination of beach scrapbooking stickers and co-ordinating patterned papers is central to the effectiveness of this layout. However, even with the most perfect combinations, a page can sometimes feel flat and dull. To alleviate this, I have used an easy paper tearing technique that adds depth to my page and gives it an interesting texture.

This layout was created using Daisy D’s Snow Plaid Winter Blue paper, Sandylion Travel Sand paper, Renae Lindgren Light Blue Squiggles paper, Daisy D’s Buttercream Gingham paper and Bo Bunny At The Beach stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Daisy D’s Snow Plaid Winter Blue paper as your background. If you do not have this paper, any ocean blue paper will do. Use the beach border sticker as your guide for finding the right shade of blue.

2. Adhere your beach border sticker along the bottom edge of your page.

3. Take your Sandylion Travel Sand paper (or a similar design) and tear three ‘mounds.’ The first is for the top left-hand corner. It should be quite long and narrow, like in the layout above. The second is for the middle of your page on the right. It should be more than 6 inches long and reasonably fat. The third is for the bottom left and should be significantly smaller than the others. See the layout above for a clearer indication of size and shape.

PLEASE NOTE: To obtain a white edge around your sand paper when tearing, tear the paper slowly towards you.

4. Glue your ‘sand mounds’ in place.

5. Mat your photos with Daisy D’s Buttercream Gingham paper (or another light yellow paper). Mat again with Renae Lindgren Light Blue Squiggles paper (or another light blue paper).

6. Glue your photos to your page at an angle, as shown in the layout above.

7. Place the sticker of the girl in the bottom left corner of your left photo so that she is sitting on the mound of sand.

8. Place the sticker of the boy with a shell to his ear in the top right corner of the right photo, also so he is sitting on a mound of sand.

9. Place the sticker of the boy with the starfish in the centre of the page, creating a diagonal line between the other two children. This brings a sense of unity to the page.

10. Place the title sticker across the top sand mound. Decorate with a large starfish sticker.

11. Finally, decorate the rest of your page with the remaining beach scrapbooking stickers. Pay attention to where you place them – they can make or break your page. Try to create a balanced feel to your page.
