I always love it when we have new Sandylion stickers because it means I get to do one of my favourite things – creating Disney scrapbooking layouts. They are a great excuse for playing with bright colours and fun stickers. In this layout, I have used our brand new Mickey Mouse stickers to embellish my Disney World photos. I just love these foam stickers. They really pop out from your page.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Disney Stickers

Materials Used: Black cardstock, Sandylion Mickey Poses paper, Junkitz Basics Circle Black paper, Beary Patch Sunbeary Dot paper, red cardstock, black ink, a white pen, Disneyland Alphabet stickers and Sandylion Mickey Mouse Foam stickers.

To recreate this Mickey Mouse scrapbooking idea, follow these steps:

1. Cut a piece of black cardstock measuring 21.6cm by 28cm. This will be your background.

2. Use a white pen to draw a border around the edges of your black cardstock. I have used a combination of dots and dashes, but you can draw whatever type of border you wish.

3. Cut a piece of Sandylion Mickey Poses paper measuring 16cm by 22.5cm. Lightly ink the edges with black ink. When dry, glue to the left side of your page approximately 0.8cm from the left edge and 2.7cm from the top edge.

4. Cut a piece of Junkitz Basics Circle Black paper measuring 5.8cm by 24.4cm. Lightly ink the edges with black ink. When dry, glue down the left side of your page approximately 3.2cm from the left edge and 1.7cm from the top edge.

5. Cut a piece of Beary Patch Sunbeary Dot paper measuring 10cm by 9cm. Lightly ink the edges with black ink. When dry, glue on the right side of your page approximately 0.8cm from the right edge and 8.3cm from the top edge.

6. Mat a horizontal 4×6 photo with red cardstock and glue to your page approximately 1.5cm from the right edge and 3.3cm from the bottom edge.

7. Crop a vertical 4×6 photo so it is approximately 9cm by 12.5cm. Mat with red cardstock and again with black cardstock. Glue to your page approximately 1.6cm from the left edge and 3.5cm from the top edge.

8. Select three foam stickers (I have used Mickey Mouse, Pluto and red Mickey ears) and position around your page, as shown above.

9. Finish off your page by using alphabet stickers of your choice to write your title in the remaining space on your yellow paper.

You now have a cheerful Disney scrapbooking page using Mickey Mouse stickers that can’t help but make you smile.

No matter what time of year it is, I always seem to thinking about Christmas scrapbooking ideas. Perhaps it’s because I seem to take more and more photos every holiday season and have to come up with quick and easy ideas to get them all scrapped before next Christmas! Or maybe it’s just all the adorable Christmas stickers that keep coming out!

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Christmas Stickers

Whatever it is, I just really enjoy scrapbooking Christmas photos, even in the middle of July. There are always so many fantastic products to play with and you can’t help but feel happy as you look back on your precious holiday moments.

In the layout below I have combined ribbon and Christmas ornament stickers to embellish my page and re-create the Christmas atmosphere. It’s a very easy technique and can be adapted to any size layout.

Materials Used: Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper, white cardstock, thin red and white gingham ribbon, black alphabet stickers, white alphabet stickers, Heartwarming Christmas Joy stickers and Reminisce Glitter Christmas Ornaments stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Cut your Bo Bunny Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper to 8 1/2″ by 11″. Use this for your background.

2. Select three vertical photos and mat with white cardstock.

3. Arrange your photos in the middle of your page, as shown above and glue into place. Make sure you leave about 4cm space at the top of your page.

4. Select four Christmas ornaments stickers you would like to use on your scrapbooking layout. Work out their placement based on the layout above, but do not stick them down yet.

5. Cut four pieces of ribbon, one for each ornament sticker. To work out the length of each piece, measure the distance from the top of the ornament to the top of the page and add about 3cm.

6. Take the ornament from the bottom right corner and the longest piece of ribbon. Thread the ribbon through the hole in the top of the ornament sticker so that about 1cm of ribbon is stuck to the back of the sticker. Stick the sticker on your layout and glue your ribbon in a straight line up to the top of the page. Fold any excess ribbon over the top edge of the page.

7. Repeat Step 6 for the other three Christmas ornament stickers.

8. Finally, use a combination of black alphabet stickers, white alphabet stickers and Heartwarming Christmas Joy stickers to add your journaling in the bottom right corner of your page, as shown in the layout above.

This simple yet effective Christmas scrapbooking idea is perfect for showcasing any of your Christmas holiday photos.

It’s time for a little bit of magic – Disney magic! I’ve been playing around with Sandylion’s new 3D stickers, and in particular, their 3D Tinkerbell stickers.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Disney Stickers

I love the way Sandylion’s 3D stickers pop out of the page at you. They make your page look so sophisticated and create a truly dimensional layout. But they are not too heavy and bulky so you can sprinkle them around your layout to create the sensational look of 3D without weighing your page down.

Materials Used: Purple cardstock, Hunter Leisure Disney Castle paper, Provo Craft Dots paper, Provo Craft Pink Swirls paper, blue Bazzill cardstock, pink Bazzill cardstock, white cardstock, corner rounder, purple alphabet stickers (2 sizes) and Sandylion 3D Tinkerbell stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the purple cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a piece of Hunter Leisure Disney Castle paper measuring 10.6cm by 29cm. If you don’t have this paper, any paper will do. However, I do recommend you choose a paper with a dominant pattern you like as it will become a main feature of your page.

Using a corner rounding punch, round the top right and bottom right corners of your page. Glue vertically to your page approximately 7mm from the right edge and 7mm from the bottom edge.

3. Cut a piece of Provo Craft Dots paper measuring 17.8cm by 4.4cm. Using a corner rounding punch, round the top left corner. Glue horizontally in the top left corner of you page approximately 7mm from the left edge. Make sure the top edge is inline with the top edge of your castle paper from Step #2.

4. Mat a horizontal 4×6 photo with white cardstock. Glue to your page 7mm below your dots paper from Step #3. Make sure the right edge of your photo and the right edge of your dots paper are inline with each other.

5. Cut a piece of Provo Craft Pink Swirls paper. The exact dimensions will depend on your photo. The height should be the same as your matted photo. The width should be the distance from the left edge of your page to the right edge of your photo mat minus 1.4cm.

Glue vertically next to your photo so that the left edge is inline with the left edge of the dots paper above it and the top and bottom edges are inline with the top and bottom edges of your photo mat.

6. Cut a piece of blue Bazzill cardstock measuring 17.8cm by 4.3cm. Glue horizontally 7mm below your photo mat. Make sure the right edge is inline with the right edge of your photo mat.

7. Using purple alphabet stickers, write your title in the centre of your blue Bazzill cardstock.

8. Cut piece of pink Bazzill cardstock measuring 17.8cm by 4.8cm. Glue horizontally 7mm below your blue cardstock. Again, make sure the right edge is inline with the right edge of your photo mat.

9. Write your journaling on the pink Bazzill cardstock.

10. Cut a piece of Provo Craft Dots paper. It should be 17.8cm wide, but the height will depend on you. The height should be the distance from the bottom of the page to the bottom edge of your pink cardstock minus 1.4cm.

Using a corner rounding punch, round the bottom left corner and then glue horizontally to your page approximately 7mm from the bottom edge. The bottom edge should be in line with the bottom edge of your castle paper and the left edge should be inline with the left edge of the pink cardstock above it.

11. Finish of your page by placing your 3D Tinkerbell stickers in key positions, as shown in the scrapbooking layout above.

And voila! A magical layout complete with 3D Tinkerbell stickers. This concept can easily be adapted to suit any theme or photos you wish. Have a go and have some fun!

This week I’ve been playing around with a mini album I am making of our visit to Tokyo Disneyland in 2006 and some fun paint splat stickers from Reminisce.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Reminisce Stickers

Here are some of my results.

These are the first four pages of my album. The album itself is 8×8. I have used Beary Patch Blueberry Stripes paper, Creative Imaginations Purple paper, dark blue Bazzill cardstock, light blue Bazzill cardstock, white cardstock, paper from a Disney Lilo and Stitch notepad I found in Japan, blue ink, a blue pen, Disney Store Japan Stitch stickers and Reminisce Paint Splats stickers.

These photos are of the Stitch parade that ran for a limited time at Tokyo Disneyland. One of the key elements of the parade was the notion that Stitch had been making a mess and splattering paint all over anything and everything so the Paint Splat stickers from Reminisce were perfect. They’d work well for pages of your little ones making a mess too!

Creating Christmas layouts is a great way to get into the holiday spirit and with Christmas only weeks away, I thought it would be a great time to share some Christmas scrapbooking ideas with you.

I usually take hundreds of photos at Christmas time so I need shortcuts that allow me to create beautiful pages fast. I know I can’t scrap all of my photos, but I sure do try!

For that reason, I turn to Christmas stickers and scrapbooking sketches.

Click Here To View Our Full Range Of Christmas Stickers

This layout was created using Sandylion Christmas Pooh & Friends stickers and sketch #182 from my collection of 500 Scrapbooking Sketches.

Materials Used: Bo Bunny Christmas Green Tidings paper (for the background), Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Ornaments paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Stripes paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Brights Mini Dots paper, Bo Bunny Christmas Red Tidings paper, white cardstock, green Bazzill cardstock, Christmas ribbon, a green ink pad, foam tape, Creative Imaginations Christmas Alphabet stickers, American Traditional Glitter Christmas Alphabet stickers and Sandylion Christmas Pooh & Friends stickers.

To create this layout, I used my sketch as my guideline, selected my supplies and then added some of my own extra special touches. They include:

1. I chose the darkest paper as my background. While it’s not always necessary, in this case I felt a dark background served me better as it ties the different elements of my page together and anchors them.

2. I used a strip of ribbon across the join between by background paper and the strip of Ornaments paper along the bottom. This enabled me to hide the ungly join and add a bit of texture to my Christmas layout.

3. I lightly inked the edges of some of my patterned papers with green ink to make the edges a little less stark and enable to different elements to blend together a little. This is one of those Christmas scrapbooking ideas that can be incorporated into practically any scrapbooking layout (and you might have noticed…I do this a lot!).

4. I layered my patterned papers in the top left corner of my page to make my photo the key focal point of my page.

5. I combined different Christmas alphabet stickers to create a truly unique title. This is another Christmas scrapbooking idea that can really be applied to any layout. By mixing and matching different colours and fonts you give your layouts a sense of sophistication and style that is uniquely yours.

6. I also matted some of my alphabet stickers to help them stand out from the background.

7. I matted most of my Winnie the Pooh Christmas stickers with white cardstock and again with green Bazzill cardstock. This helped them stand out from the background and become feature elements of the page.

8. I also adhered most of the Winnie the Pooh stickers with foam tape to add dimension to my Christmas layout.

No matter what Christmas stickers you are using, matting them and applying them with foam tape is a fabulous way to help them stand out as key elements of your page. It’s especially effective when the stickers are small as they will not overwhelm your photos.

I have so many photos from our trips to Disney theme parks around the world that when I saw our new range of Disney stickers, I couldn’t wait to get scrapping. These photos are from a trip to Tokyo Disneyland.

Of course, you don’t have to use Disney stickers with photos from Disneyland. You could also use them with photos of your kids playing, your child’s favourite toys, your child entering an imaginary world while reading or even friends goofing around.

Click Here To View Our Range Of Disney Stickers

This layout was created using Junkitz Home Bouquet paper, Foofala Paper Stencil paper, Scrap Ease Purple Argyle paper, Red Weave paper (brand unknown), white cardstock, black cardstock, black ink and EK Success 3D Alice In Wonderland stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Junkitz Home Bouquet paper as your background. Ink the edges with black ink and set aside to dry.

2. Cut a strip of Foofala Paper Stencil paper approximately 18cm wide. Following the shapes of the diamonds, cut a decorative edge down the left side. Alternatively, if you are not confident doing this, you could use decorative edged scissors to cut a fancy edge down the left. Ink the edges with black ink and when dry, glue vertically to your page approximately 1.2cm from the left edge.

3. Cut a strip of Scrap Ease Purple Argyle paper approximately 6.8cm wide. Ink the edges with black ink and when dry, glue vertically to your scrapbooking page approximately 4.5cm from the left edge.

PLEASE NOTE: The splash of purple (a royal colour) adds a sense of formality and sophistication to your scrapbooking page and is perfect for tying your colourful photos in with what would otherwise be a fairly restrained colour palette. It also helps showcase your Disney stickers.

4. Cut a piece of Red Weave paper measuring 24cm by 13cm. Tear along the bottom edge for added interest. I recommend tearing up from left to right so that the left side of your paper is bigger than the right side. Ink the edges with black ink and when dry, glue horizontally to your page approximately 5.6cm from the left edge and 10.2cm from the top edge.

5. Mat two vertical 4×6 photos and one horizontal 4×6 photo with white cardstock.

6. Glue your horizontal photo in the bottom left corner of your page approximately 3cm from the left edge and 2.2cm from the bottom edge.

7. Glue one of your vertical photos in place approximately 1.3cm from the right edge and 5.2cm from the bottom edge.

DO NOT GLUE YOUR THIRD PHOTO IN PLACE YET!

8. Cut out a large heart shape from black cardstock. It should be about 11cm wide and 10.5cm tall. Ink the edges with black ink and when dry, glue in place, as shown in the layout above. The bottom of the heart should cover the top left corner of your vertical photo from Step #7 and most of the left side of the heart will later be hidden behind your second vertical photo (which has not yet been glued in place).

9. Cut out a second, smaller heart shape from black cardstock. It should be about 6.5cm wide and 5.5cm tall. Ink the edges with black ink and when dry, glue in place, as shown in the layout above. The bottom of the heart should slightly overlap your horizontal photo from Step #6 and most of the right side of the heart will later be hidden behind your second vertical photo (which has not yet been glued in place).

10. Glue your second vertical photo above your horizontal photo so that the right edges of both photos are inline with each other.

11. Finally, decorate by placing your EK Success 3D Alice In Wonderland stickers around your layout, as shown above.

Scrapbooking rub-ons are an easy way to add an air of sophistication to your scrapbook layouts. In this layout, I chose to use glittered rub-ons to also add some bling to my design and show off my night time photographs.

This layout was created using dark purple Bazzill cardstock, Doodlebug Lilac Sweet Stripes paper, Karen Foster Purple Houndstooth paper, white cardstock, purple ink, Doodlebug Sea Glass Alphabet stickers, Doodlebug White Alphabet stickers, Jolee’s 3D Tinkerbell stickers, miscellaneous stars and Mickey ears stickers and Creative Imaginations Silver Magic Memories Rub-Ons.

Click Here To View Creative Imaginations Silver Magic Memories Rub-Ons

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the dark purple Bazzill cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a strip of Doodlebug Lilac Sweet Stripes paper measuring 1.5cm by 30.5cm. Make sure when your strip is vertical, the stripes are horizontal. Ink around the edges with purple ink and when dry, glue vertically down your page approximately 3.3cm from the left edge.

3. Cut a second strip of Doodlebug Lilac Sweet Stripes paper measuring 1.5cm by 30.5cm. Again, make sure when your strip is vertical, the stripes are horizontal. Ink around the edges with purple ink and when dry, glue vertically down your page approximately 14.5cm from the left edge.

4. Cut a piece of Karen Foster Purple Houndstooth paper measuring 11.5cm by 30.5cm. Ink around the edges with purple ink and when dry, glue vertically down your page so it is centred between your two pieces of purple stripes paper.

5. Crop two horizontal 4×6 photos down to 11.8cm by 9.4cm and mat with white cardstock. Glue the first one to your page approximately 1.1cm from the left edge and 6.5cm from the top edge. Glue the second one directly underneath.

6. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with white cardstock. Glue next to and in line with the first photo from the previous step.

7. Mat a horizontal 4×3 photo with white cardstock. Glue underneath and in line with the photo from Step #6. You should now have an arrangement of photos resembling that shown in the scrapbooking layout above.

8. Place your title in the top left corner of your page. To create mine, I have mixed Doodlebug Sea Glass Alphabet stickers and Doodlebug White Alphabet stickers. I have also added to miscellaneous star stickers and a Mickey ears sticker for extra embellishment as they suit my theme.

9. Place your ‘Magical Memories’ rub-on from Creative Imaginations Silver Magic Memories Rub-Ons in the bottom right corner of your page. If you have not used rub-ons before and are not sure how to apply them, please visit my Using Rub-Ons Tutorial at:

http://www.stickersnfun.com/scrapbooking-rub-on-transfers/

10. Place your 3D Tinkerbell sticker above your rub-on, as shown in the layout above.

11. Finally, randomly place silver star stickers (mine are from Jolee’s 3D Tinkerbell stickers) around your page for extra embellishment.

Winnie the Pooh stickers are perfect for capturing your little one’s special moments. For example, these Pooh stickers from Sandylion are great for photos of your little one sleeping or simply curled up in bed with a teddy bear or a bedtime story.

This layout was created using blue cardstock, Retro Squares paper, Provo Craft Blue Circles paper, KI Sand Linen paper, Patchwork Chocolate Brown paper, tan cardstock, brown ink, Cloud 9 Alphabet stickers and Sandylion Bedtime Pooh & Friends stickers.

Click Here To View Sandylion Bedtime Pooh & Friends Stickers

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the blue cardstock as your background.

2. Cut a piece of Retro Squares paper measuring 29.5cm by 29.5cm. Ink around the edges with brown ink and when dry, glue to the centre of your page.

3. Cut a piece of Provo Craft Blue Circles paper 11.5cm by 29.5cm. Tear at an angle down one of the long edges to create a white edge. Using brown ink, ink around the other three edges. When dry, glue vertically down the right side of your page, still leaving the small blue border all the way around, as shown above.

4. Cut a strip of KI Sand Linen paper measuring 29.5cm by 1.3cm. Ink around the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue horizontally across your page approximately 1cm from the top.

5. Cut a piece of Patchwork Chocolate Brown paper measuring 15.2cm by 20.2cm. Ink around the edges with brown ink. When dry, glue vertically to your page approximately 7.7cm from the left edge and 3.6cm from the top edge.

6. Mat a vertical 4×6 photo with tan cardstock and glue in the centre of your chocolate brown paper from the previous step.

7. Cut a square of Patchwork Chocolate Brown paper measuring 5cm by 5cm. Place a Pooh and Piglet reading sticker from Sandylion Bedtime Pooh & Friends stickers in the centre. Mat with tan cardstock and glue towards the top left corner of your photo, as shown above.

8. Use Cloud 9 Alphabet stickers (or any brown square alphabet stickers) to write your title underneath your photo, as shown above. Place a sleeping Tigger sticker from Sandylion Bedtime Pooh & Friends stickers so it looks like he is resting on your title.

9. Finally, place three Pooh & Friends pillow fight stickers from Sandylion Bedtime Pooh & Friends stickers in the bottom left corner of your page.

Three Bugs In A Rug papers are amongst my favourite papers. I just love the bright, vibrant colours and the fun patterns. Last week I decided to sit down and actually use the Three Bugs In A Rug papers that I had been hoarding in my stash. I don’t know what inspired me to do so … Maybe I just wanted an excuse to buy some more!

Here are the results:

This is the first page I created. The photos were taken at Tokyo Disney Sea of gorgeous Minnie and Daisy statues they had put up for their 5th Anniversary celebrations. I used Three Bugs In A Rug Candy Mix Sugar paper and Pretty Please Sugar paper.

This is the second page I created. Again, the photos were taken at Tokyo Disney Sea and show some of the entrance decorations from their 5th Anniversary celebrations. I used Three Bugs In A Rug Honey Sugar paper, Skinny Groovy paper and Far Out Groovy paper. The alphabet is Doodlebug Pastel Party Alphabet stickers.

I’d love to know what you think of my Three Bugs In A Rug layouts. Please let me know by leaving a comment below. Thank you.

Sometimes using stickers on a layout can be just plain fun. And that’s just what this page was! I combined bright primary colours with Disney scrapbooking stickers to create a cheerful and playful page. While I have used a Disney Cars photo on this page, you could easily adapt the same idea to suit photos of your son playing with toy cars, a car-shaped birthday cake or even your husband taking a drive in the new car. The possibilities are endless. See what you come up with!

This layout was created using Reminisce Which Way paper, Doodlebug Ladybug Sweet Stripes paper, Junkitz Basic Circles White paper, white cardstock, red cardstock, black cadstock, black ink, a black pen and Sandylion Disney Cars stickers.

To recreate this scrapbook page idea, follow these steps:

1. Use the Reminisce Which Way paper as your background. Position it so the green arrow pointing down is in the top left corner. Cut out a long yellow arrow from the right side of your page. This area will be covered up shortly.

2. Cut a strip of Doodlebug Ladybug Sweet Stripes paper approximately 7cm wide. Make sure the stripes are horizontal. Glue down the right side of your page, as shown in the layout above. This will cover the area you removed the yellow arrow from.

3. Lightly ink all the way around the edges of your page with black ink.

4. Cut a piece of Junkitz Basic Circles White paper measuring approximately 18cm by 18cm. Tear along the bottom edge. Adhere to your page so that it is up against the red stripes paper and approximately 3.3cm from the top edge.

5. Cut a strip of black cardstock approximately 1.5cm wide. Adhere vertically down your page to cover the join between your background paper and the red stripes paper.

6. Mat a 5×7 photo with white cardstock and again with red cardstock. Adhere to your page approximately 5cm from the top edge and 5cm from the right edge.

7. Place your Mater sticker (the brown truck) so that it covers the bottom right corner of your photo. If you wish, you can first mat the sticker with white cardstock for extra depth and to help it stand out.

8. Place your Lightning McQueen sticker in the bottom left corner of your page, as shown in the layout above. Again, if you wish, mat this sticker with white cardstock.

9. Cut out the letters for your title from black cardstock. Mat each letter with white cardstock and arrange them in the bottom right corner of your page to form your title.

10. Using a black pen, add your journaling to the yellow arrow sign you cut out previously. Glue to your page so that it covers the bottom left corner of your photo.

11. Finally, use your remaining stickers to decorate the rest of your page, as shown above.
