This month, Susanne is sharing with us this gorgeous Christmas layout featuring her daughter, Lily. To create this layout, she has used Sweetwater Checker patterned paper, Sweetwater Just Believe patterned paper, Berry cardstock, Manilla tags, Craft wire, Red Funky Fibre, Making Memories Berry snaps, Making Memories Eyelet Charm tag, Magic Mount, Sticky Tabs and NRN Reindeer stickers.

Begin by trimming 1 inch from either side off the Just Believe patterned paper, and 1/2 inch off the top and bottom. Measure approximately 22cm down the right hand side of this paper and lightly mark out a diagonal line to the bottom left hand corner. Use this line as your guide for tearing the bottom edge.

Mount the Just Believe paper onto the Checker paper about 1 inch from the left and 1/2 inch from the top. Punch holes in three corners and set your Snaps in place.

Mount your two photos on berry cardstock (I have a 5mm border around the photos) and position them on your Just Believe paper.

It is now time to make the tags. Apply NRN Reindeer stickers to your manilla tags. Experiment with the positioning of the tags at the bottom right hand side of your layout. When happy, lightly mark the position. Shape a 15mm length of craft wire by wrapping around various sized round objects such as a pencil or eyelet setter. Attach it to the top tag with your funky fibre. Thread funky fibre onto bottom tag and mount with sticky tabs. For a raised effect and to avoid squashing the craft wire & fibres, mount your top tag with magic mount. Trim your fibre &/or wire to desired length.

Finally, mount your eyelet charm tag to highlight Just Believe in bottom left hand section of layout using sticky tabs or metal glue.
